Weather based sales forecast for bakery chains: Correct short-term planning with weather to avoid high out-of-stock or overstocking rates and food waste. In order to improve the quality of forecasts and reduce planning errors, we worked with a software service provider to "weather optimize" the daily ordering process of bakery chains.
